I am a very outgoing and sometimes friendly person. I can come off as cold or rude at first, but once you get to know me, its understood that I keep people at a distance at first. I like being the center of attention, but am also just as happy blending in and observing. My number one love is my daughter Tabitha. I am very creative and enjoy making things. I love reading and if there is a book in front of me, I will pick it up and read it, whether I like it or not.
On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:
A couple of my friends and I decided we wanted to start a bookclub. I found out about Gather from the Borders Book Blub website. It recommended it as a good place to sign up to start a group. Once on the site, I found there were a lot of great groups and options of different things to share with an extended community. I like what I have seen so far and hope. I signed up with the intention of starting a group, but we shall see what is in store
Hi Katie! I missed your response on Dan's chat but don't want you to think I was ignoring you. I was in VA because my son was supposed to grad from UMW but found out 3 days before that he was short .02 points in his major and would have to re-take a class that wasn't offered again until next spring..so I flew back anyway to give him some support as he watched everyone else graduate.
